I would steer clear of this one. It worked OK at first then started losing channels on a regular basis and then eventually decided not to turn on. Another call to the infamous 'daewoo customer helpline' resulted in the bored employee telling me that a component had failed and that was it. It lasted for 1 year and one month - just. I'll never buy Daewoo again
Rating: - Basic but functional
I bought this for my son as a birthday present for £29 at Tesco extra. He uses it in his bedroom using an internal set top aerial. The old analogue aerial was useless so bought an amplified digital aerial for £17.99 and works great even used the parental control to block the late night previews!
We have quite a good digital signal where we live and we pick up almost all the available freeview stations on this unit.It does look pretty basic but it has done it's job well so far.
Rating: - rubbish.
Bought less than a year ago from amazon and it is really weak at picking up any channels, other boxes work much better. interactive services dont work.Flimsy, cheap,horrible and very frustrating its only redeeming quality is that it has a personal reminder in its guide, but then again who wants to watch pixelated pictures with tunnel reception sound. stay clear.

Had it six months, works perfectly in all ways except couple of glitches with the EPG with no program info showing on some channels, but rescan fixed that. Interesting to hear about quality issues from other punters. This has been bashed about by my toddler a dozen times and shows no ill effect. I guess you either get a good one or you don't.
Rating: - Avoid at all costs
This is my first digital box, and I was really happy with it at first. It was easy to set up and pleasingly compact. However less than a year on, it has just given up the ghost. First the picture quality started going, and then mysteriously it stopped working altogether. I called the Daewoo helpline who didn't even try and diagnose the problem but just said it wasn't worth repairing.
