Purchased one recently from a local large retailer.Boxed up and returned within 24 hours and exchanged for a SamsungPS42Q97HDX/XEU which was my original plan. The picture quality was average and colour contrast was poor. the contrast on this tv was 1500-1 compared with 15000-1 on the Samsung.Full HD with 1080 is not necceserily better.The salesperson did say to me "over 37" screen, go with plasma". I think i would agree with that now.

bought one of these televisions in the boxing day sales ,after 2 days it broke down (it kept cutting out) exchanged it for a different one ,but so far not very impressed with the picture,football on normal sky broadcast is blurred and very hard to follow ,and normal sky channels are not very good either,on high definition dvd's the picture quality is excellent ,but all in all not very impressed with the picture quality ,i would not recommend it
