Well, we finally took the plunge and after looking at the Sony W series and the Panasonic LZD85 and this one, we finally took the plunge and went for the TX37LXD85.
The main reason we chose this one was the styling, it fitted well with the stand we had in mind, that and the fact that the TV makes a VERY good job of standard definition TV, no problems on this set at that I have found in the week we have been using it.

Bought this tv for my mum who is 77 , You put batteries in the remote and plug tv in and off you go. No down side at all dont get to involved with the instruction manual as it is a bit long winded . Use it as you go along and the bonus is the sd slot my mum now has a 32 inch photo frame as a bonus. Good delivery as well , came 2 days before the earliest date given 10/10
