Bought this TV in the sale from SONY centre with 5 year warranty free, far cheaper than Amazon. Crystal clear picture, good sound. Far better than my older 32 inch Sony LCD TV. It pricier than equivalent size TVs but you get what you pay for!

Okay, I guess I was angry/majorly dissapointed when I wrote my previous review for this . Pixmania have confirmed the set was faulty and gave me a full refund with no problems. Perhaps it was a blessing in surprise as it would have been too small anyway.
Sony are still good in my book. I read all the good reviews and saw it working splendidly in the shop. A mightily impressive TV but just not on this occasion for me.

This is great TV I don't know what the other chap is lookin at on less its faulty, the TV is better than the "W" versions i.e 26w4000 with the bravia engine 2 its just super, plus with 33,000:1 contrast ratio makes the sharpness even better on SD TV, but on HD i.e Blu ray, you get pin sharness, only down sides which I can live with is that TV is not full HD but you still get 1080p output, plus the TV I got came with no ENGLISH MANUAL, it is an EU TV cause it came with a EU mains plug

Received this from Pixmania last week.....My first venture into the world of Sony TVs having read the reviews and having been a fan of Panasonic and Pioneer, decided it was time for a change. I wish I hadn't bothered!
A lovely looking TV but a great dissapointment as far as the picture goes. Faces appear as if they've been "painted" over or viewed through a pool of water with results the same using my sky+ and sky hd boxes. Managed to get some improvment by tweaking sharpness, etc but if you ... Read More
